Directions

The trails are very well signposted in the High Tatras.

The path leads from Zakopane to Murowaniec, through the valley Dolina Suchej Wody Gąsienicowej (sea alpine pasture dry lake) to the Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy (polish black lake) up to Mały Kościelec (small polish chapel).

Return via Karb (Kerbsaddle), descent to Czerwone Stawki Gąsienicowe (lower and upper polish lakes) and ascent to Świnicka Przełęcz (sea alpine pasture saddle). Over the ridge path of the Polish-Slovakian border it finally goes to the mountain station of the Kasprowy Wierch. From here, you can descend by cable car or descend on foot.
